Compassionate, confidential counseling delivered online, so you can focus on healing and growth—wherever life takes you.

Depth. Clarity. A Way Forward.

We are currently accepting new clients

Our team of licensed mental health professionals brings decades of combined experience in healthcare. We help clients understand the deeper patterns that shape their feelings, relationships, and choices, working at a pace that allows real change. We’ve supported individuals from many backgrounds through anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and major life transitions—always prioritizing a steady therapeutic relationship, curiosity about the inner world, and meaningful, lasting change.

At Halden Psychotherapy and Consultation, we built our practice around a straightforward commitment: to offer steady, thoughtful therapy that respects the complexity of a person’s life. Real change doesn’t come from quick fixes—it comes from understanding what’s going on beneath the surface.

We help people get to the root of their struggles. That means paying attention to the patterns, fears, and old stories that can shape how you feel and how you relate to others. Many of the clients who come to Halden want more than short-term symptom relief; they want clarity, stronger relationships, and a more honest understanding of themselves.

Our team takes training seriously. We invest in advanced education, ongoing consultation, and continual professional development so that our work stays sharp, informed, and grounded. This commitment allows us to offer therapy that’s steady, focused, and genuinely helpful—not rushed or formulaic.

Halden is a place for people who want to do meaningful inner work and make lasting changes in their lives.

Your Questions, Answered

Do you have any in-person options?

Some of our clinicians have times when they’re available in-person, but it depends on the day of the week. You can speak to your therapist about the possibilities of either working together in-person, via telehealth, or a hybrid of the two.

What’s the process to begin?

After you submit a Contact form on our website, one of our therapists will reach out to you to schedule a free 15-minute phone conversation to find out more about what brings you to therapy. After, you’ll likely be scheduled for an initial evaluation where we get to know you better and make sure that we’re a good fit. From there, we will come up with the next steps and go from there.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We are in the process of being paneled with major insurances in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. Our therapists can talk to you about timelines for accepting insurance and the possibility of working together on a cash-fee basis in the meantime.

We are currently in-network with the following insurances:

  • Aetna in Ohio

  • Aetna in Michigan

Let's Work Together

If you’d like to explore working together, you’re welcome to schedule a short consultation to see whether we might be the right place for you to begin.

We will do our best to respond to your request within 1-2 business days.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Halden Psychotherapy and Consultation does not provide emergency services, and messages submitted through this form may not receive an immediate response.
